**Two-Minute English Story: A Happy Ending**

One rainy afternoon， a young boy named Tom was walking home from school. He had lost his favorite toy， a small red car， and was feeling very sad. As he walked， he noticed a shiny object on the ground. It was his toy!

Tom picked it up and smiled for the first time that day. But as he was about to run home， he saw an old man sitting on a bench， looking worried.

From that day on， Tom always tried to be kind and helpful. And even though he never saw Max again， he remembered the happy ending of that rainy afternoon.
